Quest Public Sector has been a supporter and follower of the Transglobal Secure Collaboration Program (TSCP) over the years.  Many of our solutions around identity management lay the foundation of a secure and compliant identity management infrastructure.  A good foundation is kind of important.  TSCP's charter states, "TSCP’s guiding imperative is that A&D supply chains are collaborative by definition and participants need to share information externally as a result. TSCP recognises that its chief aim is to protect proprietary, intellectual property and key technologies. Managing this dual dynamic adeptly is key to TSCP’s success."  It looks like TSCP is gaining traction with the addition of GSA as it's 12th member last year.  Ultimately TSCP is about enabling organization to federate their identities so they can securely collaborate and communicate.  The advent of Gov 2.0 is also accelerating the need for a set of standards.  I assume GSA will be able to take what they learn and share it with the other agencies in civilian government.  We will continue to follow this very important initiative and we have heard from our industry sources that one new very large member will be joining the group.  Perhaps this will be announced at RSA?  We shall see...   Link

The Johns Hopkins University, a private teaching and research institution, operated with a disparate, heterogeneous IT environment that had products from multiple vendors. Because the products required separate management and monitoring tools, administration was time-consuming and costly. To improve efficiency, Johns Hopkins implemented a single, integrated solution based on Microsoft® System Center solutions and the Quest Management Xtensions from Quest Software. As a result, the university replaced multiple consoles with one interface and is able to use fewer employees to manage multiple systems. By administering more efficiently, Johns Hopkins has reduced costs and downtime. The university has more comprehensive oversight of its IT infrastructure, which has also strengthened regulatory compliance.
